FunkyMEDIA Generates 167 Percent More Leads for HVAC Installer with Brand-Mentions Driven SEO Campaign

Łódź, 9 November 2025 – FunkyMEDIA, a Łódź-based SEO agency founded in 2010 by Rafał Cyrański, has completed a nine-month SEO campaign for a Polish company specializing in heat recovery ventilation (HRV/recuperation) installation. The campaign, built around a brand mentions strategy, delivered a 142% increase in organic traffic and a 167% increase in the number of leads from the SEO channel.

At the outset, the HRV installation company operated locally and regionally, generating on average:

  • 3,200 organic sessions per month,
  • ~65 qualified leads per month from organic traffic (contact forms, quote requests, phone calls),
  • limited visibility in Google for high-intent queries such as “rekuperacja Łódź”, “montaż rekuperacji dom jednorodzinny”.

The brand itself was relatively unknown online, with only 29 keywords in Google TOP10 and very few branded searches (queries including the company name).

Over nine months, FunkyMEDIA focused on positioning the company as a trusted expert in rekuperacja through high-quality brand mentions in specialized, industry-related sources: construction and renovation portals, energy-efficiency blogs, YouTube and social media channels about home building, as well as forums for homeowners.

In total, the agency generated 214 brand mentions, including:

  • 81 mentions on construction, HVAC and energy-efficiency portals (guides, expert comments, case descriptions),
  • 63 mentions on blogs and content sites about building and renovating single-family homes,
  • 42 mentions in social media (including collaborations with niche creators on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram),
  • 28 mentions on homeowner forums and Q&A sites.

Around 52% of these were “pure” brand mentions, where the company name was cited without a clickable link, but placed in a strong expert context (e.g. explanations from the company’s engineers on HRV design, costs and energy savings).

Campaign results after 9 months:

  • Organic traffic increased from 3,200 to 7,750 sessions per month (+142%),
  • Monthly leads from organic traffic grew from ~65 to ~174 (+167%),
  • Keywords in Google TOP10 rose from 29 to 103 (+255%),
  • Branded organic traffic (queries including the company name) increased by over 220%,
  • Conversion rate from branded traffic improved from 4.8% to 6.5%.
